Mastering the basics of photography is not difficult at all. Beginners with little or no knowledge will be able to show considerable improvement in their photography skills through our Basic Photography Course. The combination of workshops and field trips enhances learning experience, allowing participants to not only be proficient with the handling of their camera and lenses, but also the ability to achieve creative compositions through clear understanding of fundamentals.

Course requirement: Lots of passion and a digital SLR camera.

CORE TOPICS
• Use of DSLR camera
• Understanding aperture and depth-of-field
• Understanding shutter speed and f-stops
• Lenses
• Compositional rules
• Day/Night Photography

COURSE DURATION
2 workshops (2 hours each) + 3 field trips (3 hours each) = Total 5 sessions
For the convenience of working adults, all our classes are conducted on Saturdays.

COURSE FEE
$480 (Including course notes and photo prints of individual selected work)
Min class size: 4 / Max class size: 6
Course will be conducted over a period of 5-8 weeks.

OTHERS
• A certificate of completion will be awarded with a minimum of 75% attendance.
• Participants are able to stay connected through regular photography outings.
• Participants are welcome to share their work on our Facebook & Flickr pages.
